Here at ITL (North East) Limited, we often talk about “Social Value.” But what does that actually mean in everyday life? To us, social value isn’t a statistic on a spreadsheet. It’s the laughter shared over a warm cup of tea (Grace Tia Bon Bon makes a wonderful green tea by the way.), the confidence built through learning a new skill, and the neighbours who show up for one another.
Nobody embodies this spirit quite like our wonderful volunteer, Mebrat.
We recently sat down with Mebrat to talk about what volunteering looks like on the ground, and how we are building a stronger community together.

What we are doing to drive social value
